We loved the convenient location of this accommodation. It was just a stone's throw away from the charming town center of Hay-On-Wye, making it easy for us to explore the bookshops and cafes. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The WiFi was reliable and fast, ensuring we stayed connected throughout our stay.
We had to keep the heating on throughout the night, which went against our eco-friendly values.

Great location, just a stone's throw away from the charming town. The kitchen equipment was in good working order, allowing us to whip up some delicious meals. The WiFi was fast and reliable, making it easy to stay connected during our stay. Additionally, the cleanliness of the accommodations was impressive, making us feel comfortable and at ease. And let's not forget the convenience of having parking available, ensuring a stress-free experience.
The lack of insulation in the corrugated iron barn made for freezing nights, even in June. We had to keep the heating on all night to stay warm, which went against our beliefs about fossil fuel consumption.

The room at Hay View Lodges - Barn End was absolutely charming! It had a cozy bedroom with a comfy bed and a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, and the seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The bathroom with a shower was also clean and convenient.
Personally, I found the absence of a toaster in the kitchen a little disappointing. However, I understand that others may not see it as a downside.
